Senior Corporate Counsel

📋 Description

• Lead legal operations to scale as the business grows.
• Partner with executives and commercial teams on complex negotiations with enterprise customers.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and close SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, and data licensing.
• Create templates, playbooks, and scalable contracting processes.
• Translate AI, privacy, and regulatory requirements into internal policies.
• Collaborate with engineering on AI, data governance, security, and compliance risks.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years legal experience with JD/LLB and Canadian bar in good standing.
• Strong experience drafting/negotiating tech agreements: SaaS, MSAs, order forms, DPAs, tech
• Excellent negotiation and redlining skills with business-friendly recommendations.
• Experience with tech/AI, ML, legal tech, or SaaS organizations.
• Solid privacy, data governance, compliance knowledge and regulatory awareness.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
