Senior Cost Accountant

📋 Description

• Support inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Assist monthly close activities, cost variance analysis, inventory reconciliations, and financial
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cost analysis and reporting.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and physical inventory counts with warehouse personnel
• Prepare data for audits and maintain internal controls documentation.
• Support process improvements within the accounting team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of standard cost, absorption accounting, variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Aptean Ross) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Life sciences/biotech or manufacturing industry experience; SOX 404 experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, integrity, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
