Senior Counsel, Global Alliance - China

📋 Description

• Support AbbVie's global alliances with China-based partners
• Provide practical legal counsel across alliance lifecycle
• Advise on U.S.-China regulatory issues affecting collaborations
• Navigate HGR, BIOSECURE Act, and cross-border collaboration rules
• Draft, review, and negotiate amendments and governance docs
• Collaborate with Global Alliances, R&D, regulatory, IP, and other teams

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and bar admission in at least one U.S. state
• 5+ years in life sciences transactions or advisory work
• Experience with China-based collaborations and cross-border deals preferred
• Substantive knowledge of U.S.-China regulatory frameworks
• Mandarin proficiency preferred; scientific background helpful
• Autonomy, collaboration, and strong analytical skills
