📋 Description

• Own the legal advisory for stablecoin, payments, and crypto infra product teams.
• Advise on U.S./global regs (money transmission, BitLicense, banking, e-money, securities, BSA).
• Drive resolution of novel issues by identifying risks and coordinating with Legal.
• Partner with Compliance, Finance, Tax, Security, and ERM to enable launches.
• Shape the team's approach to emerging regulatory frameworks and disclosures.
• Build scalable legal processes and playbooks for fast, compliant product velocity.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. with 7+ years and active U.S. bar membership; fintech/crypto in-house preferred.
• Deep knowledge of payments regs (money transmission, BitLicense, Reg E, SEC, CFTC) for crypto products.
• Proven ability to provide risk-adjusted legal guidance balancing compliance with velocity.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and driving legal workstreams.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
