Senior Counsel, Transactions

📋 Description

• Identify and resolve highly complex legal issues in corporate transactions.
• Manage M&A and pharmaceutical licensing and collaboration/joint venture deals.
• Monitor changes in laws affecting licensing, M&A, antitrust, and IP matters.
• Negotiate sophisticated agreements independently with third parties.
• Conduct due diligence and interpret complex agreements related to transactions.
• Manage outside counsel and ensure policy compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in job location
• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience; in-house or healthcare compliance preferred
• Exposure to biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences compliance topics (preferred)
• Ability to advise clients and assess legal risk in real time
• Experience handling complex matters with autonomy and cross-functional collaboration
