Senior Crypto Threat Analyst - Sanctions

📋 Description

• Lead sanctions intelligence on cryptoasset regimes and evasion typologies
• Own end-to-end coverage of sanctioned entities and jurisdictions
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to translate intelligence into platform
• Produce written outputs: reports, briefings, blogs, whitepapers, client content
• Represent Elliptic's sanctions intelligence at industry events and regulator engagements
• Coach junior colleagues and drive analytical excellence across the function

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience as intelligence analyst, investigator, or compliance specialist in sanctions
• Subject matter expert in global sanctions regimes (OFAC, UK, EU, UN)
• Experience designing or improving monitoring/alerting and investigation playbooks
• Ability to identify systemic coverage risks and drive remediation
• Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder-ready outputs
• Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools, OSINT, and adverse media sources; AI fluency
