Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across diverse data sources
• Develop automated validation and integrity checks that identify data issues early
• Model and move data across relational and analytical stores to support reliable downstream systems
• Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot data quality and performance issues
• Design pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and observable
• Review human- and AI-generated code for quality, correctness, and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or backend engineering
• Advanced proficiency in at least one core language, preferably TypeScript/Node.js or Python
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills across relational and analytical data stores
• Solid understanding of data ingestion, ETL, transformation, and pipeline architecture
• Experience designing scalable data validation, integrity, and quality checks
• Experience building and operating data solutions on AWS
