Senior Data Engineer - Finance

📋 Description

• Own pipelines that bring billing, usage, and contract data into the data warehouse.
• Diagnose data quality and freshness issues at the source.
• Design and maintain dbt models for revenue, forecasting, and analytics.
• Set testing/documentation standards for Finance data accuracy.
• Build datasets and semantic models for dashboards used by Finance leadership.
• Favor self-service data solutions to reduce ad-hoc requests.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in data/analytics engineering with end-to-end data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python, production-grade code.
• Hands-on dbt, dimensional modeling, ELT/ETL workflows, orchestration (Airflow, Dagster).
• Experience with Finance data (usage-based billing, revenue recognition, close/forecasting).
• Ability to translate business questions into technical specs and durable models.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills; independent architectural judgment.
