Senior Data Engineer - Full Stack

📋 Description

• Partner with stakeholders to understand workflows and translate needs into technical requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data products on Databricks: ingestion, Delta Lake
• Develop and operate reliable batch, incremental, and streaming pipelines using SQL, Python
• Create event-driven data solutions that integrate with operational systems and downstream consumers.
• Build backend services, APIs, and integrations to make governed data available for applications.
• Prototype solutions rapidly, validate with stakeholders, and prepare concepts for production.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data/ software engineering with ownership of production data solutions.
• Strong SQL, Python, and PySpark proficiency; production-grade pipelines and data products.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog (or similar data governance).
• Experience with streaming or near-real-time pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hubs, etc.).
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, data governance, and streaming reliability.
• Experience delivering full-stack data solutions (pipelines, backend APIs, lightweight UIs).
