Senior Data Engineer II, Finance

📋 Description

• Finance data engineering to support monthly/quarterly close, invoicing, and reporting.
• Own critical data integration pipelines and models for reliable financial reporting.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, billing, and revenue teams to translate pain points into
• Mentor team members and champion engineering excellence across the organization.
• Operate in a small team with ownership from design through execution.
• Drive organization-wide initiatives shaping the financial data vision and roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data/software engineering with data pipeline focus (financial data).
• Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery expertise.
• Python, Airflow, Spark, Iceberg, Delta Lake production experience.
• Strong data modeling for complex financial data with scalability/usability.
• SQL and dbt proficiency; experience with ETL/ELT for accounting/billing data.
• Experience with data immutability, auditability, and slowly changing dimensions.
