Senior Data QA Developer

📋 Description

• Design and architect automated data quality frameworks and testing suites using Python and SQL to
• Partner with Data Developers and Product Managers to establish data contracts, quality gates
• Develop automated data-SLA monitoring and observability for anomalies across BigQuery, Airflow, and
• Validate complex ELT/ETL processes to ensure datasets are accurate, secure, reliable, and optimized
• Integrate data-specific automated testing and regression checks into Git-based CI/CD pipelines and
• Investigate data defects, pipeline failures, SQL performance issues, and implement durable

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data QA, Data Engineering QA, or related field in complex SaaS/cloud data
• Strong Python and SQL skills for scalable automated testing solutions.
• Hands-on experience with data platforms, particularly GCP and BigQuery.
• Practical experience with Airflow and data orchestration technologies.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data transformations, validation, modeling, and dimensional design.
• Ability to analyze SQL execution plans and identify performance bottlenecks.
