📋 Description

• Defend insured clients and organization in pending litigation across states, including
• Handle tort, negligence, insurance coverage, personal/commercial lines matters with litigation
• Communicate with claims legal personnel on case developments and strategy.
• Maintain organized, professional litigation files per house counsel protocols.
• Participate in QA reviews to improve efficiency and quality of work.
• Support leadership with reports, operations, and admin processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Ohio Bar with at least 5 years in insurance defense litigation.
• Litigate in state and federal courts; defend clients effectively.
• Strong tort, negligence, and insurance coverage experience across jurisdictions.
• Experience with personal and commercial lines, incl. commercial liability.
• Knowledge of claim valuation, tort law, civil procedure, and policy interpretation.
• Familiar with Northeast and North Central Ohio markets.
