📋 Description

• Design and build prototypes, reference implementations, and example repos to show practitioners how
• Create working prototypes to validate product direction and accelerate engineering iteration
• Build tooling that removes friction from common analytics workflows
• Publish technical content for the dbt Developer Blog, guides, and documentation
• Share knowledge via community channels and contribute to product launches as a SME
• Represent your product area across Community Slack, GitHub, conferences, and public forums

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related field
• Hands-on dbt knowledge and practitioner-level fluency
• Strong public communication in technical contexts; track record of published content
• Solid data/analytics engineering basics, including Python and SQL; open source contributions
• Comfort with AI and enthusiasm for applying it to workflows
• Ability to work autonomously with clear priorities and regular updates
