Senior Director, Clinical Development

📋 Description

• Lead the clinical development strategy for AL137 in Phase 1
• Own clinical and medical strategy, integrating safety, biomarker data, and translational insights
• Serve as internal physician expert for AL137 with investigators and regulators as appropriate
• Turn data into decisions; collaborate with Clinical Operations and investigators
• Define evidence needed for critical development decisions and communicate clinical meaning
• Identify practical ways to apply AI and emerging tech to accelerate analysis

🎯 Requirements

• M.D. (preferred) or Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, or equivalent
• 10+ years' experience leading clinical development in biotech/pharma
• Drug development experience in neurodegenerative diseases
• Strong knowledge of trial design, medical monitoring, data interpretation, and regulatory
• Experience designing and executing first-in-human and Phase 1/2 studies with dose escalation
• Ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable recommendations
