📋 Description

• Lead multidisciplinary organization to architect, design, qualify, and deliver spacecraft
• Own component roadmaps, design and qualification strategies, and test plans with cross-functional
• Scale components from prototype to constellation quantities, ensuring manufacturability and cost
• Mentor multiple levels of managers and enable scalable growth within the team.
• Split responsibilities between San Jose and Mountain View with regular onsite days at both

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years designing/managing high‑reliability systems in harsh environments (spacecraft, autonomous
• 8+ years of people management, including engineers and engineering managers.
• Strong foundation in electrical, embedded, and mechanical design/analysis.
• Experience with low‑volume, high‑mix production; proven project management (budget/schedule).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving in fast‑paced settings.
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering or related.
