Senior Earth Observation Engineer

📋 Description

• Work with Earth observation customers to derive mission and payload requirements, verification
• Follow and drive optical payload suppliers' development and test activities
• Develop, with AIT/OPS teams, on-ground/in-orbit test and calibration strategy
• Develop on-board and on-ground data processing strategy
• Support Lead Systems Engineer in CONOPS development
• Support business development for optical payload customers and Earth observation virtual missions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a space systems engineer on earth observation missions
• Strong familiarity with image quality metrics and imagery calibration (geometric, radiometric
• Experience with optical payloads
• Python coding experience for at least 1 year
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to challenge norms in aerospace engineering and testing; comfortable in fast-paced
