• Produce original, insightful, engaging content on general aviation safety across formats.
• Write monthly safety articles for aviation magazines with accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide editorial support for leadership on public-facing safety topics.
• Generate story ideas from flying experience and industry knowledge.
• Apply strong news judgment to select angles and allocate resources.
• Manage content release calendars and cross-channel distribution.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years in aviation writing/editing with a strong portfolio.
• FAA Private Pilot Certificate with instrument rating required.
• Strong aviation knowledge and safety topic understanding.
• Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects, mentor contributors, and drive content approaches.
