Senior Electrical Engineer, Hardware Test (R5154)

📋 Description

• Lead the design, validation, and deployment of advanced test systems for X-BAT’s components.
• Architect PCBs and test interfaces for power electronics, RF, and comms.
• Develop automated test sequences in Python for scalability and repeatability.
• Design and integrate custom test fixtures (relays, PLCs, PCBAs, harnessing).
• Own cross-functional design reviews; advocate for testability improvements.
• Hands-on with HASS, ESS, HALT testing in harsh environments.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 3+ years in hardware design and test engineering (or equivalent with advanced degrees).
• Deep expertise in electrical design, mechanical and software for hardware test systems.
• Proven ability to design, implement, validate multidisciplinary hardware systems.
• Strong ownership; capable of driving projects from concept to execution.
• Team-first mindset with high standards and collaboration.
