Senior Electrical / Hardware Engineer

📋 Description

• Perform DMSMS assessments to identify obsolete components and assess impact on availability.
• Develop mitigation strategies: alternate components, tech refreshes, FPGA redesigns, Last Time Buy.
• Design FPGA-based replacements for obsolete ASICs, CPLDs, PLDs, and discrete logic.
• Develop and maintain replacement BOMs and assess component suitability.
• Support schematic updates, PCB reviews, signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and hardware
• Collaborate to meet avionics standards and certification requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace/Systems Engineering, CS, or related field
• 10+ years FPGA development or embedded hardware in aerospace/defense.
• Hands-on FPGA development with Vivado, Quartus, or Libero.
• Proficiency with VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog.
• Experience with DO-254 and DO-160 requirements.
• Experience with ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, PCIe, SPI, I2C, CAN, UART.
