Support development and flight test of liquid cooling and thermal systems for X-BAT.
Design components and fluid systems; engage with suppliers.
Perform system/component analysis and sizing; own fluid systems aspects.
Travel to Shield AI’s Newton, KS site for flight test ops as needed.

🎯 Requirements

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
5+ years in environmental control, liquid cooling, thermal systems, design, analysis, and supplier
Proven ability to design, build, test with rigor and speed.
Strong CAD skills (NX preferred).
Proficiency in fluid system analysis (1st principles, Simscape, Amesim).
Ability to work independently in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
