Senior Engineer, Flight Controls - X-BAT (R4814)

📋 Description

• Contribute to the XBAT flight control system for stable, robust performance across all flight
• Collaborate with propulsion, aero, actuation, sensors, and autonomy teams to ensure integrated 6DOF
• Support flight test operations and rapid iteration between flights.
• Develop flight control laws and validation workflows for multiple regimes.
• Build high-fidelity 6DOF simulation environments for control development and predictions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in flight controls / GNC on real flight vehicles.
• Experience in vehicle modeling and simulation for 6DOF environments.
• Proficiency in C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and/or Python.
• Strong background in aircraft flight dynamics and 6DOF simulation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; S//SAR clearance desired.
