Senior Engineer, Flight Test (R5371)

📋 Description

• Develop and execute flight test plans to validate autonomy capabilities and system performance in
• Design test scenarios that reproduce customer workflows and mission conditions to identify defects
• Build analysis tools and validation workflows to improve test coverage and regression testing.
• Review flight logs, telemetry, rosbags, and system data to triage issues and drive root-cause
• Collaborate with middleware, autonomy, and integration teams to improve product quality and testing
• Mentor junior engineers and help establish testing standards and processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 4 years
• Proficiency in software quality engineering, test automation, and programming with Python and C++.
• Experience planning and executing field or flight testing for robotics or autonomous systems.
• Experience developing automated test tooling, validation frameworks, or data analysis tools.
• Experience designing, documenting, executing, and tracking test plans, test cases, and software
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
