📋 Description

• Own the delivery, quality, and technical direction of the fraud and risk decisioning platform, and
• Set the technical vision for how Pleo detects and prevents fraud: data and ML-driven decisioning at
• Build a focused, high-performing team with clear ownership and a strong engineering culture.
• Directly manage, mentor, and grow engineers and tech leads with clear growth paths.
• Drive AI-native ways of working; ensure quality and safety of AI-assisted work in fintech context.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Security leadership to align real-time detection with governance.

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of leading and growing engineering teams with delivery health and people development.
• Domain judgment in fraud, risk, financial crime, or real-time decisioning; understanding latency
• Technical depth in data pipelines, model-driven decisioning, and infrastructure (ML, streaming
• Judgment on build-vs-buy for high-stakes, regulated systems.
• Passion for people management and coaching; promotion earned by performance.
• Proficiency with AI-enhanced development tools and AI-native workflows.
