Senior Engineering Manager, Fortary Platform

📋 Description

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering custody, transaction authorization, key management
• Own architecture and roadmap for a distributed MPC custody platform for institutional scale.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and execs to align tech with regulatory needs.
• Shape engineering practices, manage incidents, and develop leaders.
• Oversee security, resilience, and governance as platform scales toward regulated finance.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices to improve productivity and quality.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years leading production-scale distributed systems.
• Proven ownership of large-scale, security-critical platforms from design to operation.
• Deep cryptography expertise: MPC, threshold signatures, TEEs, HSMs.
• Cloud-native design: Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability, resilient infra.
• Security/compliance exposure: SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST; aware of SEC/CFTC/OCC/MiCA.
• Experience with digital asset infra: custody, trading, staking, treasury, settlement.
