Senior Engineering Manager - Streaming

📋 Description

• You will lead a team of engineers towards building high availability cloud hosted video platform
• Spearhead scalable video processing pipelines; improve transcoding, packaging, publishing and ads
• Provide technical leadership to deliver high quality, low latency streaming experiences and QoS
• Contribute to design and implementation of core video service backend components.
• Evaluate architectural tradeoffs for performance and security in high concurrency video infra.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to align scope and decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years hiring and leading high-caliber product engineering teams.
• 8+ years in software development with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud video processing platforms (AWS Elemental or Azure Media Services).
• Video formats knowledge: DASH, HLS, CMAF, MPEG-4; DRM like Widevine/Fairplay.
• Experience with ad insertion technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication; capable of hands-on depth and strategic leadership.
