Senior External Communications Manager

📋 Description

• Develop and execute external comms strategies aligned to org objectives and market priorities.
• Lead media relations strategy and execution across AI, technology, business, financial, and industry media.
• Guide development of press releases, media pitches, Q&A documents, social content, and executive talking points.
• Translate complex data and insights into clear narratives for external audiences, including media and analysts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts to validate data-driven findings and ensure rigor.
• Manage PR agency relationships, directing strategy and execution for impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field required.
• 8+ years of experience in communications, PR, journalism, or marketing (agency or in-house).
• Background in business, financial services, data/analytics, or tech sectors preferred.
• Experience developing and executing strategic external comms programs, including media relations and executive visibility.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling; ability to translate complex data into clear narratives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
