Senior Financial Crimes Compliance Controls Strategist

📋 Description

• Own FCC’s controls-effectiveness across manual procedures, detection rules, workflow controls
• Establish testing standards, evidence retention, issue identification, remediation tracking, and
• Partner with PEDD to translate requirements into scalable workflows, controls, and user experiences.
• Lead internal AI/automation strategy and ensure human oversight for AI-enabled workflows.
• Evaluate risk coverage, identify emerging risks, and drive improvements in controls across products

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in financial-crimes compliance, AML/BSA or sanctions.
• 3+ years in technical compliance, controls, testing, or QA.
• 3+ years as AML/financial-crimes trusted advisor with cross-functional partnerships.
• Experience developing or evaluating manual and tech-enabled controls.
• Deep understanding of financial-crimes typologies and risk evolution.
• AI fluency and ability to lead AI/automation initiatives in compliance.
