Senior FinOps Engineer (Cloud Financial Operations)

📋 Description

• Own cloud cost visibility end to end with tagging and showback
• Drive rate optimisation across the estate: RI and Savings Plans strategy
• Build and maintain FinOps dashboards and tooling for insights
• Improve forecasting accuracy and support budgeting with finance partners
• Identify workload optimisation and waste reduction with engineering teams
• Define and track cloud efficiency KPIs and embed cost-aware design

🎯 Requirements

• Several years in FinOps or cloud financial management
• Strong understanding of public cloud architecture (AWS) and cost drivers
• Hands-on with tagging governance, allocation, and commitment instruments
• Strong analytical skills to interpret usage data and anomalies
• Experience with FinOps or BI tooling; Python scripting a plus
• Ability to communicate cost insights to technical and financial stakeholders
