Senior FinOps Engineer (Cloud Financial Operations)

📋 Description

• Own cloud cost visibility end to end with tagging, allocation, and showback for accurate
• Drive rate optimisation across the estate: RI and Savings Plans strategy (incl. RDS) balancing
• Build and maintain FinOps reporting, dashboards, and tooling to turn billing data into actionable
• Improve forecasting and support budgeting with finance partners to make spend predictable.
• Identify workload optimisation and waste reduction; partner with engineering on rightsizing and
• Define and track cloud efficiency KPIs; embed cost-aware engineering into design and delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or similar experience.
• Solid understanding of public cloud architecture (preferably AWS) and cost drivers.
• Hands-on experience with cost management including tagging governance and commitments (RI, Savings
• Strong analytical skills to interpret usage and billing data and drive actions.
• Experience with FinOps or BI tooling; scripting (Python) for reporting/automation is a plus.
• Ability to communicate cost insights to technical and financial stakeholders and drive
