Senior FPGA Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Join the FPGA Core team to design and integrate FPGA solutions for communications, processing
• Own entire FPGA designs from concept to production in a surgical robotics context.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams for system integration.
• Develop modular FPGA content for shared applications and drive architectural decisions.
• Perform in-system verification and validation to meet product specs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical or computer engineering
• Minimum 8 years of FPGA design experience
• Fluent in System-Verilog/Verilog (VHDL a plus)
• Expertise with AMD Versal and Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC
• FPGA build tools: Vitis/Vivado/SDK/HLS; simulation: QuestaSim/UVM
• Experience with DDRX, AXI4, PCIe, SPI, I2C; embedded processing and motor control
