Senior Frontend Engineer - Graphics/WebGL

📋 Description

• Solve complex rendering challenges by building and optimizing 3D experiences in the browser
• Work with WebGL/WebGPU and WebAssembly to deliver high-fidelity 3D for Canva users
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate 3D requirements into Editor experiences
• Contribute frontend components that integrate with Canva's Editor
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for 3D UI development
• Drive technical alignment across teams to ensure 3D work integrates with the platform

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with frontend tech stacks and real-time rendering, 3D graphics, or creative tool
• Experience with WebGL or WebGPU
• Strong understanding of rendering performance and memory management
• Problem-solving skills to break large projects into smaller, deliverable pieces
• Solid CS fundamentals and ability to communicate across designers, PMs, and engineers
• Rust or WebAssembly experience is a plus
