Senior Fuel Handling System Design Engineer (Nuclear)

📋 Description

• Lead design and integration of nuclear fuel handling systems
• Coordinate analyses across thermal, seismic, structural, piping, and heat transfer
• Develop and review FEA and CFD models for designs
• Provide technical leadership on thermal, fluid, mechanical, and process design
• Apply engineering codes and standards (ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA, etc.)
• Maintain engineering specifications, system requirements, and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years designing complex mechanical systems (nuclear preferred)
• Proven experience designing nuclear fuel handling or related high-performance equipment
• Strong multidisciplinary integration and complex plant system design
• Experience developing and reviewing FEA and CFD models
• Familiarity with nuclear codes/standards and quality programs (ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001)
