๐Ÿ“‹ Description

  • Lead design and integration of nuclear fuel handling systems
  • Coordinate analyses across thermal, seismic, structural, piping, and heat transfer domains
  • Develop and review FEA and CFD models to support designs
  • Provide technical leadership on thermal, fluid, mechanical, and process design requirements
  • Apply codes and standards (ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA, etc.) and regulatory requirements
  • Create and manage engineering specs, system requirements, and technical docs

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years designing complex mechanical systems, preferably nuclear
  • Experience designing nuclear fuel handling or similar high-performance systems
  • Strong multidisciplinary integration and complex plant system design
  • Experience with FEA and CFD; familiarity with nuclear codes/quality programs (ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001)
  • Experience creating engineering documentation and coordinating multiple activities
