Senior Fuel Handling System Design Engineer (Nuclear)

📋 Description

• Lead design and integration of nuclear fuel handling systems
• Design subsystems from concept to final engineering design
• Coordinate analyses: thermal, seismic, structural, piping stress, heat transfer
• Develop/review FEA and CFD models for designs
• Provide technical leadership on thermal, fluid, mechanical, and process design
• Support licensing activities and safety reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years designing complex mechanical systems
• Experience in nuclear fuel handling or similar high-performance systems
• Strong multidisciplinary integration and plant system design
• Experience developing/reviewing FEA and CFD models
• Familiarity with ASME/NQA-1, ISO 9001 or equivalent
