Senior Fund Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare and review fund financial statements under US GAAP
• Maintain ledgers, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts
• Assist with NAV calculations and financial reporting packages
• Calculate management fees, carried interest, fund waterfalls, and investor allocations
• Support capital calls and distributions
• Interact with clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 3 years in fund accounting (private equity, VC, or alternative investments)
• Strong fund accounting knowledge: capital allocations, fees, carried interest, waterfalls
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP); macro experience a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively
