Senior Hardware Engineer, Radar

📋 Description

• Lead radar or lidar sensing system development from concept to production
• Define sensor targets, requirements, and validation plans
• Drive benchmarking and tech down-selection across suppliers
• Lead supplier engagement and design maturity reviews
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet program needs
• Review test data, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field; 7+ years (or MS 5+ yrs
• 8+ years in automotive sensing with radar or lidar and leadership on hardware programs
• Strong first-principles sensing knowledge: radar or lidar fundamentals
• Proficient in Python with NumPy, pandas, Jupyter
• Experience with sensor data, logs, CAN tools, ROS/rosbag, and automotive data interfaces
• Ability to lead technical design reviews and cross-team collaboration
