📋 Description

• The Senior ISSO oversees cybersecurity operations for systems throughout their lifecycle, ensuring
• Serve as the primary cybersecurity advisor for assigned information systems and support security
• Lead RMF activities, including system authorization, ongoing authorization, annual assessments, and
• Coordinate with system owners, authorizing officials, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and
• Develop, maintain, and update SSPs, authorization packages, security documentation, and RMF
• Coordinate security control implementation, evidence collection, documentation updates, and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science
• Five+ years as ISSO or supporting federal RMF/A&A programs.
• Experience with NIST RMF phases: categorization, control implementation, assessment, authorization
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-37, 800-53 Rev. 5, 800-53A, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity
• Experience developing authorization documentation: SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, contingency plans
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities with system owners, engineers, vulnerability teams, auditors
