Senior Internal Auditor - Operational

📋 Description

• Lead operational internal audit engagements from planning through reporting, ensuring alignment
• Develop audit programs, scope, walkthroughs, testing, and evidence gathering.
• Plan for branch and distribution center audits and determine engagement priorities.
• Draft findings and communicate deficiencies, root causes, and improvements.
• Present findings in close meetings and discuss remediation with management.
• Lead audit teams, review workpapers, coach associates, and uphold quality standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related; advanced degree a plus.
• At least 4 years in internal audit, external audit, accounting, or finance, or 2 years Big
• Experience leading small audit teams with coaching and quality oversight.
• Professional certifications including CIA, CPA, or CFE.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit principles, governance, risk, compliance, controls, and
• Experience evaluating processes and identifying control gaps, root causes, remediation.
