Senior Java Developer - Portugal (Remote)

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend apps using Java 17/21 and Spring
• Own software delivery from architecture to deployment and production support
• Build and evolve microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems for performance
• Participate in solution design, technical decisions, and architectural discussions
• Diagnose production issues and optimize system performance
• Mentor developers and strengthen engineering standards

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional backend Java experience
• Java 17/21 with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or Micronaut
• Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs, and scalable backend design
• Cloud infra: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD
• Observability/monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry or Dynatrace
• Must be based in Portugal and fluent English
