Senior / Lead Data Engineer - Azure Databricks

📋 Description

• Build and maintain semantic layer and KPI model with Databricks Metric Views
• Define and validate KPIs with business owners
• Profile data quality, history, grain, and reconciliation across source systems
• Design data integration and transformation pipelines for AI-generated narratives
• Define conformed dimensions and market variations across primary markets
• Collaborate with BI/AI teams to translate KPI logic into reusable data models

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, preferably FMCG/CPG retail data
• Hands-on with Databricks Metric Views or equivalent
• Experience building semantic layers and KPI/metric models
• SQL and Python proficiency for data processing
• Experience with Azure Databricks and ELT/ETL tooling
• Knowledge of data modelling, conformed dimensions, and Medallion architectures
