(Senior) Lean Manufacturing & Assembly Engineer

📋 Description

• Lean Manufacturing & Assembly optimization across global suppliers
• Improve cycle times, lead times, OTIF, and assembly costs
• Lead hands-on improvement on supplier sites; translate learnings into standards
• Shaping future assembly concepts across Europe and North America
• Standard work, documentation, time studies, capacity models, line balancing analyses
• Cross-functional collaboration with Production, R&D, Procurement, Quality, Logistics

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in Lean Manufacturing, assembly process optimization, line balancing, capacity planning
• Experience in complex assembly environments (mechatronics, machinery, automotive, industrial)
• Structured time studies (REFA/MTM); Six Sigma Green Belt a plus
• Technical drawings, BOM structures; experience with ERP/MES/production reporting systems
• Strong analytical skills with shop-floor mindset; able to influence suppliers and stakeholders
• Fluent in German and English; Spanish a plus; willingness to travel Europe and to North America
