Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Platform

📋 Description

• Own the full lifecycle of extraction models - framing, data/annotation strategy, model selection
• Define what "accurate enough" means with stakeholders and build the evaluation harness.
• Partner with Clinical Data Managers on curation design and QA/QC tooling.
• Build clinical NLP pipelines and productionize them with backend engineers.
• Use LLMs with versioned prompts, evals, and cost/latency awareness.
• Shape the roadmap with a mission-driven partner, not a backlog.

🎯 Requirements

• Healthcare or life sciences experience with real clinical data.
• 6+ years in applied ML with production-grade models.
• Deep experience in information extraction, NER, classification, sequence labelling.
• Practical experience with LLM-based approaches and prompts.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in Python; production mindset.
• Collaborative, self-directed, problem-solving mindset.
