Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Vision Models

📋 Description

• Build and adapt offline vision models from on-vehicle architectures and foundation models.
• Improve accuracy across vehicle platforms, geographies, and conditions.
• Exploit offline compute budgets and temporal context for richer models.
• Benchmark models and set quality bars for validation pipelines.
• Ensure results are statistically defensible for safety cases.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor others on the measurement team.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years ML engineering; production DL model experience.
• Hands-on CV model training with vision or multimodal/VLM architectures.
• Experience adapting/fine-tuning large pretrained models; multi-task training.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch; strong software engineering practices.
• Strong ownership; able to drive work autonomously and mentor others.
• Ability to define and interpret metrics for model improvement.
