Senior Manager, Developer Relations

📋 Description

• Lead Tailscale’s Developer Relations function end-to-end with strategy and roadmap.
• Build and scale a multi-channel DevRel program across content, video, events, workshops, and
• Serve as a visible technical voice and maintain technical credibility with developers and engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Growth, Content, Sales, and Success teams to influence
• Define and track DevRel performance, audience growth, activation, and funnel contribution.
• Manage DevRel budgets, vendors, and resourcing for high impact results.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Developer Relations, advocacy, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years in managing or leading technical contributors and scaling DevRel.
• Strong ability to communicate credibly with a technical audience.
• Experience building multi-channel DevRel programs with portfolio-level tradeoffs.
• Proven ability to translate priorities into a DevRel strategy and measurable outcomes.
• Strong program management, planning, and risk communication.
