Senior Manager - Hardware Returns & Failure Analysis

📋 Description

• Own returns pipeline end-to-end: intake, handling, triage, diagnostics, storage, traceability.
• Set targets for turnaround time, throughput, root-cause accuracy.
• Iterate diagnostics to improve accuracy and reduce no-fault findings.
• Hands-on role addressing high-impact or ambiguous failure modes; close to the product.
• Own failure analysis lab capability; roadmap to bring X-Ray/CT, cross-section, SEM in-house.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, production, and QA teams; build a high-performing, process-driven team.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep electronics engineering experience with hands-on hardware debugging.
• Seasoned leader: 5+ years building high-performance teams.
• Excellent communication; translate findings for cross-functional teams.
• A deep curiosity and principled approach to root causes with clear evidence.
• Strong ownership and bias for action; not afraid to roll up sleeves.
• Low ego, highly collaborative and willing to play for the front of the Jersey.
