Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

📋 Description

• Own Kikoff’s external reporting and technical accounting for IPO prep.
• Lead financial statement prep, disclosures, and close-to-file calendar.
• Manage private-to-public transition and related disclosures.
• Work with auditors, CFO, and legal/compliance; build a scalable function.
• Based in SF office three days a week; role starts as IC with growth potential.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Big 4/public accounting and in-house SEC/tech accounting.
• CPA required; deep US GAAP/SEC rules knowledge (S-X, S-K).
• Experience drafting 10-K/10-Q; IPO/S-1 is a plus.
• Pre-IPO equity accounting: ASC 718, 409A, EPS on convertibles.
• Strong memo writing; defend positions to auditors.
• Independent contributor with judgment to scale a team when needed.
