Senior Mechanical Engineer - NPD

📋 Description

• Lead multi-disciplinary technical teams translating clinical needs into specs.
• Rapidly develop and iterate full-scale prototypes of candidate architectures.
• Design components and produce mechanical drawings for volume manufacturing.
• Develop and commercialize mechanical assemblies with safety in mind.
• Perform risk analyses and document/test designs per procedures.
• Support fixtures, assembly processes, production troubleshooting, and regulatory processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical design experience with statics, dynamics, kinematics, stress, fatigue, thermal
• Failure analysis proficiency; design docs in SolidWorks or similar CAD.
• Experience releasing designs with documentation and configuration control.
• Experience designing for volume manufacturing: casting, molding, stamping, thermoforming.
• Self-driven, capable of leading multiple complex projects in small teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.
