Senior Medical Director, Product Safety Physician Lead

📋 Description

• Serve as Product Safety Physician Lead for complex developmental programs.
• Lead benefit-risk oversight across the product lifecycle, esp. early development.
• Chair Safety Management Team meetings; present safety perspectives to governance bodies.
• Represent safety in Company Safety Committee meetings and follow-up actions.
• Mentor other Safety Physicians/Scientists and strengthen team capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into strategy and launches.

🎯 Requirements

• MD or equivalent with accredited residency required.
• At least 6 years in pharma/biotech; 4+ years safety in Phase 1/2.
• Experience as Product Safety Physician for developmental products.
• Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance and ICH standards.
• Experience with regulatory interactions and cross-functional leadership.
• Oncology experience preferred; travel less than 10%.
