Senior ML Engineer (AI Research/ Portability)

📋 Description

• Research, design, and implement ML systems for portability across environments
• Build prototypes, evaluation frameworks, and production-ready components for AI agents
• Develop portable abstractions across models, providers, protocols, tools, and execution environments
• Design routing systems and AI agent architectures; optimize memory, context, and evaluation
• Collaborate with research, engineering, security, and product teams to turn ideas into reliable AI
• Communicate findings via documentation, demos, benchmarks, open-source work, and publications

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise in ML, AI systems, and software engineering
• Deep knowledge of model routing, AI agents, retrieval systems, memory architectures, evaluation
• Experience with language-model or agent-based systems and multi-turn workflows
• Proven ability to design, run, and analyze ML experiments with solid stats
• Experience formulating research questions, testing hypotheses, drawing reliable conclusions
• Knowledge of evaluation methodologies, reproducibility, uncertainty estimation, generalization
