Senior Modular Designer

📋 Description

• Lead design and technical development of modular data center systems (enclosures, skid frames
• Create and maintain 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks; coordinate with AutoCAD and Revit as
• Establish MCAD design standards, modular templates, and DFMA-aligned workflows.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturability, quality, performance, and production needs.
• Provide guidance to junior designers and coordinate with external resources.
• Partner with Project Engineers to develop cost-effective, client-satisfying solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Eng or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in mechanical engineering/design; sheet metal, structural frames, welding expertise.
• Strong mechanical design fundamentals; welded structures, enclosures, modular systems.
• Advanced SolidWorks; AutoCAD and Revit helpful.
• Experience with manufacturability, ISO 9001, documentation, and quality practices.
• Experience supporting product development, proposals, bids, and early design phases.
